The distance shown to Me & Mom from Rome, Pisa and Florence

Two hours away from Rome, Florence and Pisa lies an area of Tuscany that is not so isolated but you would think it is with it being undisturbed by tourism. There are quaint medieval towns all over the region. As far as the eye can see you will find rolling hills of olive groves and vineyards with the beautiful sea as its backdrop. Spotted in another direction are thick forests of chestnuts and tiny villages spotting the horizon.

The towns themselves are rich in stories and culture. Friendly residence are proud of the tranquility of their rich little world full of homemade food and wine.

From the ancient cobble stones to one of the grand churches that peak into the skies, I never tire of capturing these little bits of history. Yes, Maremma is a special place here in Tuscany. I hope you will join me at my Me & Mom in Tuscany someday to find out for yourself.
